HOLLY HOGAN

Holly is a wildlife biologist, nature writer and Yoga Alliance (200H) certified Vinyasa yoga teacher. Her varied passions have one essential element in common: her commitment to tread with kindness, respect and compassion on our planet – in our interactions with others and perhaps most importantly, within ourselves. Holly has been practicing yoga for about thirty years, starting with Iyengar in the early nineties. Her practice evolved toward Vinyasa flow, under the awesome guidance of Melanie Caines and other instructors at Nova Yoga and beyond. In the past seven years Holly has taught in a range of venues – from the helicopter deck of scientific research ships in the arctic (yes, yoga in snow pants!) to private gym settings.
Holly’s classes offer a safe place to nurture, challenge and celebrate ourselves. She brings compassion, warmth and humour to her classes, where every body, heart and mind is welcome exactly as they are.
When not on her mat, Holly is usually in the woods with her dog, enjoying a belly laugh with her husband, or far out as sea, training her binoculars on seabirds, whales and any number of ocean wonders.
