FAQ
1. DO I NEED TO BRING A YOGA MAT?

Up to you!  Most people like to use his or her own mat but I provide mats, free of charge, at the studio. I just ask that you clean them afterward with the cleaner and cloths I have provided.

 

2. I’M A BEGINNER – WHAT’S THE BEST CLASS TO ATTEND?

The best class to attend for Beginners would be the ‘Get with the Flow’ Beginner Workshop that runs from time to time; however if there is no workshop scheduled or you cannot make the workshop the best classes to attend are Peace Flow (all levels), Yin (all levels), Restore your Bliss (all levels), and Classic Flow (level 1).  Peace Flow, Yin, and Restore your Bliss will be more gentle classes while Classic Flow will include a mix of strength and flexibility.  After a few classes you might find that Happy Hour Flow (level 1/2) and Lunch Flow (level 1/2) are suitable. 

 

3. DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR CLASSES IN ADVANCE OR DO I JUST SHOW UP? CAN I DO A DROP IN FOR ANY CLASS?

You can do a Drop In for any class on the group class schedule. There is no pre-registration required for the group classes on the schedule, so you can just show up! Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the class begins, especially if this is your first visit as you will have to fill out a registration form.

Advance registration is required for specialty classes (Beginner Workshops, Inversion Workshop, Special Events etc.) however that will be indicated.

 

4. WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Doors open 15 minutes before the class begins.  We ask that you do not arrive earlier as we use this time to clear out the studio after the previous class.

 

5. DO YOU OFFER PRENATAL YOGA?

Yes, we do offer a weekly drop in Prenatal Yoga Class on Saturdays at 10:30am and Thursdays @ 6:00pm.

 

6. HOW DO I PURCHASE A PASS?

You can purchase a Yoga Class Pass directly from the website using a credit card on the ‘Prices’ page of the website by clicking here, or you can purchase a pass at the studio using a credit card, debit, or cash.  You can also purchase passes on our Nova Yoga App (Apple download or Android download).

 

7. CAN I BRING MY CHILD TO CLASS?

Please note that responsible and mature youths age 13-15yrs are permitted to attend class with a parent or guardian.  Youths age 16-17yrs are permitted to attend class on their own if a parent or guardian gives their permission by signing our Nova Yoga Youth registration form.  Children under 13yrs are not permitted to attend regularly scheduled classes.
